Sandy Sunday...

Sunday, after watching General Conference and enjoying a yummy breakfast, we headed down South to hang out with my parents who were in town for the week. After a delicious dinner by my mom (why can't I ever cook as good as her?) we walked down to Big Corona Beach for the annual Sandcastle Competition.

We had fun checking out all the different creations, and running into so many of our O.C. friends. Finnley and Dieter wanted to chase the waves and dig for sand crabs, so you can imagine they were wet and sandy by the time we headed home.

Finnley wanted her picture taken in front of each of the sand-creations. She picked out her poses all by herself...here are my favorites!

It was a fabulous way to end our day of rest. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset over the ocean with our family...I can't imagine anything better.
