Sara came to Utah with a few tricks up her sleeve...one of which was KNITTING! She made baby Hoyt some darling homemade beanies for Christmas, and I just
had to learn how. We made a trip to Hobby Lobby, purchased a bunch of Thick n' Quick yarn, and we were off! The best part...Mitch wanted in on the fun (and so did Mac Daddy). My dad couldn't get over the fact that the boys were talking knitting language saying things like "knit, knit, purl" but he had to be impressed when Mitch finished an awesome hat! We were totally ADDICTED, and would knit at any opportunity. Here we are right after church, kids down for naps, still in our church clothes, knitting away! I love it, and as soon as I'm done typing this post, I'm going to finish my scarf.
My First Hat! I love how it turned out. Finnley wore it the rest of the time we were in Utah. Thanks Sara for teaching me such a fun new hobby. Miss ya!
