I am officially a whole year older. If you could see my face right now, you'd see my lower lip pushed out and my eyes bunched together in a little scowl - obviously making some wrinkles because I am getting them. For some reason this birthday hit me harder than those in the past. Not only am I closer to 30 than ever before but I am now officially in my late twenties.
Bummer.
Luckily, I'm able to still have fun and enjoy the fact that I am in deed growing old(er).
This year we celebrated with a day on the beach, followed by dinner at one of our favorites...Javiers.
I enjoyed spending the day with some of our closest friends. Thank you for celebrating with me.
