Merry ChristmasWell, it’s hard to believe that 2006 is coming to an end. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating the New Year and making those resolutions. I’m sad to see this year come to a close as it has been a year of excitement and anticipation here in the Duckworth Household. As many of you know, we are expecting our first little girl in February of next year. Although there have been times of anxiety and doubt, we are so excited to expand our family and try our best to raise a child (that has only two legs)! This has been another busy year for us Duckworth’s. Mitch has been focusing on school and should finish up this May with a degree in Economics and a minor in Spanish from the University of Utah. He is also heavily involved with the pre-dental program at the U and has applied to several dental schools across the country. Lindsay is working full-time at Basic Research in the marketing department, and is finally starting to put together a nursery and looking forward to becoming a mom.
This is such a special time of year, and we want to let all of our family and friends know what an important part you play in our lives. All of you mean so much to us, and we hope that you will enjoy this holiday season. We are so thankful for the birth of our Savior and for the impact He has had on our lives. May we all remember the true meaning of Christmas and remember the humble birth of Christ this upcoming season.
With Love,
Mitchell, Lindsay and Tuscan Duckworth
