Saturday we got together on the nicest day of the year, so far, and celebrated our little TWO year
old's birthday on the beach. We roasted hot dogs and
smores over the fire, while watching all the gorgeous boats come into the harbor. We filled up a big cooler with water balloons for the kids to throw or pop.
Finnley would pick them up, squeeze them as hard as she could, and pop them all over herself. She was soaked! As always, a fun game of throwing water balloons between the kids turned into an intense war between the dads. The moms and kids were dodging water balloons that were being
hucked through the campsite, onto chairs, and nearly missing babies! The dad's had a great time though, and were soaked by the end. Check out Mitch and Bob with their wet shirts!

Finnley liked roasting her dog and mallows and wanted to do it all by herself. Her dog was a little black by the time it was all the way cooked, and I don't think she even took a bite with all the
excitement going on! She did eat the top off about four cupcakes though.
Every time she went missing she was over at the table grabbing a new cupcake to eat the frosting off. Stinker!
Finnley kept popping balloons on herself, and then playing in the sand. She was a MESS! I literally walked her over to the showers and hosed her down. Luckily it was 75 degrees, so she didn't freeze her
toosh off.

Finnley"....she loved being sung to, and is a pro at blowing out the candles! This girl is such a sweetheart and a really, really good kid.
