White Coat Ceremony

Last night was Mitch's White Coat Ceremony on the USC Campus. It is just a ceremony to initiate the beginning of a new road for the students and to symbolize all they'll be achieving over the next four years. It was great, and I am so proud of him. We had fun meeting a lot of his classmates and new friends. Here are a bunch of pictures from the day...

This is Mitch's current PBL group. He'll be working with these people every other day for the next few months. They have elected me the "Team Mom" and Finnley as the "Team Mascot". There aren't a lot of married students, let alone married with kids (besides your BYU and Utah grads) So, I guess I was elected by default. Pretty much my job is to make goodies for them, and Finnley's is to help me! :) I'll try my best!
Mitch and Finn with Josh and Zoey. Zoey and Finn became instant friends, feeding each other goodies during the ceremony and playing together. They are only a couple of months apart.

Unfortunately, we didn't have the best seats, so this isn't the best picture, but it is of the students reading the Oral Health Oath right after they put on their White Coats.
Mitch and Finnley....notice the name of the building!

Family picture in front of "Tommy Trojan"! I really have been so impressed by USC's Dental School and the beautiful campus. We are so thrilled that Mitch is going here, and know we couldn't have chosen a better place!
Finnley scored one of the Giant Balloons after the reception was over...she loved the "BOON"!
Afterwards, we met up with a few of Mitch's classmates and their wives at The Grove for dinner at Cheesecake. It was a lot of fun, and I am thrilled that Mitch has such great new friends with such cute wives!
After that we went to YOUGURTLAND with Chuck and Kaitlyn Odion in West Hollywood. It is a great place (Mitch's new favorite). You come in, grab your own cup and then you get to pick from 20 different flavors (or a little of each) and then add your own toppings (fruit, cereal, gummies, etc) and then you pay by the weight. It was soo good too. It was a late night, but so much fun. Finnley was a good sport even though we kept her up and out on the town until mid-night. Congrats again Mitch...we really are so proud of you and grateful for what you're doing for our family.
